Narmada Foundation is a non-profit Organization which is working towards development of rural communities of Odisha in collaboration with Suryamani Netralaya. We believe in sustainable lifestyle promoting good education, health and quality of life among rural Communities.
The organization is providing tremendous health care services in the rural region of Odisha. The improved treatment, use of high tech instruments in surgery and diagnosis, cordial and friendly behavior of hospital staffs as well as treatment by experienced specialists have been the focus of Narmada Foundation.
The efforts of Suryamani Netralaya has a remarkable impact for rural Odisha, Eye health care being one of the major intervention area of Narmada Foundation. . Free Eye Camps have become an extensive step towards the service of economically weaker section of the community. It has established its name in Odisha building a good rapport and started to become a leading eye hospital in Balasore.
Suryamani Netralaya has succeeded in achieving large numbers of cataract surgeries in the area. Apart from this we have provided tremendous services to eradicate the blindness by encompassing many people in eye treatment.

Free Distribution of Medical Needs
We believe in transforming lives through distribution of medical needs. There is an abundance of medication produced in the world, there should be a way to distribute those free of cost to the low income, uninsured people.
We deliver glasses, lenses and medicines - free of cost- to the people who need it the most but cannot afford it, after eye check ups and cataract surgeries.

Mid Day Meal
We engage in Mid Day Meal programs for School children along with common people. We have been serving nutritious mid-day meals to them to ensure that children continue to receive nutritious meals amid the prevailing crisis and to boost immunity and health of the whole community.

Narmada Foundation with Suryamani Netralaya is continuing the successful journey and achieving big numbers of cataract surgeries. We have covered many eye patients through our eye camps organized in the rural and tribal areas. Today Suryamani Netralaya occupies a prominent place in the sector of eye health service in Odisha. It is best known for its quality service, use of advanced technology and equipments, friendly behavior and caring nature of staffs and treatment by experienced eye specialist.
Project activities for Narmada Foundation are carried out in the remote villages of Odisha. People who are unable to travel to cities are benefitted by our health camps and Eye Camps. Our health program includes preventive and curative health care of the minority communities in the remote areas. Basic health care is made available to the needy promoting a healthy living and educating the people about how to prevent and cure Common diseases and injuries.
Narmada Foundation along with Suryamani Netralaya collectively organized many awareness campaign on blindness control and cataract. Patients got free eye checkups, Cataracts surgery and also provided with the medicines and glasses free of cost or with heavy discount.
